So one of the items on my to do list was to go through my travel photos so that I could share some of my past and recent adventures with you. I unfortunately had to put it off to make time for other tasks but I finally got around to it this weekend. I did not realize how many trips I have not yet shared! In addition to my language updates I am going to share a ton of travel photos the next few weeks so that I’ll be all caught up for our annual trip to Europe this next year (I still haven’t shared our pictures from our trip to Paris last year!).
So, without further ado, my first travel photo post that has been long overdue.
I figured I would start with photos from France since I know with certainty that I will have more coming.
This first set of photos is from Brittany, France, the north-west region of France. I spent some time there doing fieldwork for my dissertation and I really enjoyed the music, food and environment (fest noz are a ton of fun). I was in Nantes (which is technically no longer a part of Brittany but it was once upon a time), St. Malo, Dol-de-Bretagne and Rennes. I still hope to one day make it out to the Western Peninsula.
Photos from Brittany France (and Nantes)
Side note: I know I have one of the images in the collages twice but I was having issues with the way Photoshop was exporting files and it corrupted several of my photos irreparably and I was one image short once I finally managed to get it to work. Sorry about the duplicate image!
