Fireworks in Dana Point Harbor Travel

This year I didn’t want to miss either the 4th of July nor Bastille Day, so I decided to get a jump on our countries’ celebrations. Two years ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to go see fireworks from a boat in Dana Point Harbor and it was the best fireworks experience I have ever had.

We watched the sunset from the ocean, saw a pod of dolphins frolic in the waves and finally closed out the night with numerous firework displays fired between us and the California coastline. Because of our location, we were able to see the fireworks from several cities and it was a truly beautiful.

Here are a collection of photos of Fireworks in Dana Point Harbor.

  • great job capturing fireworks! i actually need to get myself out there and do some of my own. I always get lazy at the end of the day and don’t want to brave the crowds. haha

    • That’s one of the benefits of being on a boat. No crowds 🙂

      • i’m telling jacob to buy me a boat! he’s gonna laugh! 😛

        • Haha. No it wasn’t our boat! It’s the whale watching boats in Dana Point Harbor. You can buy tickets to go out, enjoy dinner and a fireworks show.

  • WOW you got some amazing firework shots!! This sounds like the way to celebrate!

    • It was! Thank you. You should see if they have something like this in San Diego for next year. If not, you can always come up to Orange County. 🙂
